Built to work. Solas certification, HVO ready, single fuel concept. The DTorque 50hp diesel outboard is designed for commercial vessels, with fuel savings of up to 40% and torque where you actually need it.
Designed for Commercial Applications
With its huge torque output of 111nm this outboard is ready for the hard shift. Alongside the up to 40% fuel savings the endurance is perfect for rescue craft, aquaculture and marine civil work.

• 111nm torque at low RPM - power where you need it
• Up to 40% fuel savings vs petrol equivalents
• Staggering fuel efficiency for commercial applications
• Quieter and cleaner than traditional diesel engines
• Solas certified for commercial use
• HVO ready for sustainable fuel options
How It Works
Two of the key innovations of the Neander Dtorque 50 are the Dual Crankshaft and revolutionary opposed-piston design.
By generating opposing forces, the Dual Crankshaft eliminates almost all vibrations and oscillations that would otherwise arise on the control unit of a conventional opposed-piston diesel engine.
The advantages for the user are obvious: reduced noise, vibration and odour, and greatly improved manoeuvrability.

The Torque Advantage
When powering vessels, petrol engines typically exhibit a 30% mark on the throttle before delivering meaningful power. This becomes even more pronounced when dealing with heavier vessels, where the engine may struggle to exceed 70% to 90% of its maximum power output.
In contrast, a diesel engine can access up to 60% of its capacity to deliver the same level of power in real-world waterborne scenarios. This is where the DTorque diesel engine's torque characteristics provide a decisive edge, particularly when working with heavy loads.
